ILFAT was launched in Delhi with a roundtable with members of Parliament and journalists. Held meetings with National Commission for Women, Ministry of WCD, Niti Aayog, etc.
All ILFAT members held their first meeting in Kolkata. Decided their vision and mission and prepared their charter of demands.
Survivor leaders reach out to 8 other collectives and named their alliance as Indian Leadership Forum Against Trafficking. Developed their logo and launched this website.
Survivor groups such as Bandhan Mukti, Utthan and Bijoyini from West Bengal and Vimukthi from Andhra Pradesh met in Kolkata and decided to set up a national platform in collaboration with other survivors’ groups from across the country.
