Media is a critical part of the struggle for change towards a just and equal society. For us, media is an ally and a partner in making the invisible visible by getting voices of people heard.
We want our media friends to:
- Conduct investigative reports
- Write about traffickers, instead of focussing only on victims
- Take our opinion in your reports as subject experts, not restricting only on victims’ stories
- Question why there is such low prosecution of traffickers and report on gaps in system
- Write about champions, amongst survivors and also amongst the supporters – politicians, bureaucrats, innovations.
